Camp Canal Challenge event check in begins at 12 noon at:

Meridian Centre Park in Brighton, NY

Bikers may register on the day of the event as space permits.  Click on the firstgiving badge at the lower left portion of this page to be taken to the event registration automatically.

Bicycling will begin at Meridian Centre Park located in Brighton NY and go along the canal.  all participants with travel West and then "turn" at the Mt. Hope Ave bridge location.  You will continue past the starting point up to the Lock 33 location at RT 65.  All Participants will then "turn" and travel westward back to Meridian Park starting point.  The bicycle ride is approximately 8 miles long on the canal path.  All participants stay on the canal path and obey all NYS Canal bicycling rules - this is a casual ride. Light refreshments will be made available at the Perinton Park location. 

 Our Canal Challenge will finish by 4 pm.

Our Camp Canal Challenge is specifically designed for bicyclists to help Camp Haccamo provide its services to children and young adults with disabilities by helping raise monies for these programs. The canal path makes a pleasant and scenic view of the eastern side of Monroe County good for all levels of bicycling enthusiasts.
